![]() 16 October 2008 11 Oct 2008 I recently found my pentablet after moving house in the summer. I thought it was lost and gone forever but it turns out it was put into a drawer with real pens. I had kept meaning to buy a new one but there was always something else that came up as being more important to spend sixty squid on (beer, computer games, lacy underwear etc.) But now I don't need to worry about that and can draw again, huzzah!! Dave 26 June 2008 Dave 29 Jan 2008 Yes it is a new year and the holidays are over, I'm back at the old webcomics again. I would have put more up over the holiday season there but I was a lot busier than I thought I was going to be. Good news is though that thanks to my hard work I managed to land a permanent contract in a computer games shop. So dream job time hurrah! Anyhoo Hope you all had a great new year and all the best for 2008. Dave 10 Dec 2007 I was going to go with the whole "Happy Holidays" or "Wishing you a Merry Festive time of Year" so as not to offened anyone who doesn't celebrate Christmas, but then I thought if your reading my comic at a website called Fuct in The Head, you are obviously not the type to be easily offeneded. So Happy Christmas and all that Jazzy goodness. Dave 04 Dec 2007 You'll have noticed no doubt the lack of strips the last few weeks, it was due to my phone line company being ran by a group of trained chimps and messing up royally. I'm still getting cross line calls but at least the internets working again. Dave 25 Sep 2007 Thats me all moved to my new flat In Paisley and ready to start my uni course. I have discovered there are older people than me on it, the lecturers. Dave 27 August Managed to get back to my old flat where there is an internet connection today to sort out the furniture getting move, so I thought I'd post a quick wee strip whilst waiting on the removal men. I'll try and keep the strips updated as often as possible but can't promise anything for the next few weeks. Dave 22 August 2007 So I'm Supposed to going to uni Next month after attending a Summer school at the end of this month, As I'm moving out of my flat at the end of this month (in to a box at the moment, my girlfriend says I can crash at hers for a bit though) I need all the information for getting student accommodation next month sorted as soon as possible so I know whether I have to look for a flat or not. So far the Uni has been very helpful at giving me other peoples phone numbers, who in turn pass me on to yet more people. Apparently the real guy I need to talk to comes back tomorrow so hopefully I'll find out whats happening then. Dave 06 August 07 ![]() Trying out a new style on this project, I'm still trying to get the body in proportion with the head but I'm liking it so far. Dave 25 July 2007 Just back from my job in Dumfries where for two days I cut grass and shot rabbits, Felt like a proper farmer. Anyhoo off again for a couple of days, I'll try and get some comics up when I can. Dave 22 July 2007 Sory there wont be any strips put up until about wednesday (25th July 07) as I'm off to do some work Down in Dumfries, I'll have some internet access and possibly a scanner so I'll see what I can come up with. Also Appologise for there only being 2 strips last week, I had some Buisness in Paisley I had to attend to. Anyhoo I'm off to pack for Dumfries. I hope the weather's good as I'm working outside. Dave 17 of July Thats right kiddy winkles. I feel the time has come for me to start work on a side project to FiTH my webcomic. In the three years since I started drawing it, the feed back I have gotten back has been great. The comic itself even funds its own upkeep (with a little left over for me to buy some beer and little things) and the reviews I have gotten from friends and complete strangers has mostly been good, the odd few randoms saying I don't put enough dick and fart jokes in there, or sometimes I am a sicko (jesus/punching babies/microwaving cat jokes). So anyway "What is this new Project you are going on about?" I hear you ask, or at least I would if you were within earshot. Well I've always been a fan of Zombie movies, books and Games. And thought to myself why not try my hand at my own little zombie story. But instead of being one of these Hollywood blockbuster all guns a blazing types, what would happen to average people in Britian where there are about as many guns to hand to the average person as there is gold plated toilets. I know what you are probably thinking "Shaun of the Dead", I wont deny that this is one of my favourite films. And Simon Pegg is one of the funniest men alive, I wont deny any similarities in the idea. But I think that film was a lot more about an average guy trying to get back his girlfriend than about fighting a zombie menace. You could put that story in any similar B-movie situation and still get the same effects (killer birds, alien invasion etc.). Anyhoo I'm stil in the early stages of design, characters, location, peoples relationships with each other and the like. And unlike my webcomic I plan on having this as a printed publication. Re-investing from some of the funds raised from FiTH. Now to be honest the webcomic does raise me some money, but not enough to live off of (about $50 a month) so most will be coming from my own pocket. But if you happen to be a publisher looking to invest into a UK based comic I'll more than welcome any help. Right then, off to the drawing board. Dave 13 July 2007 I was on the Commuter train this morning making my way into glasgow for a bit of shopping, when I here the name "DAVE DRAWS" shouted at me from someone sitting in the carrige I was standing in. Now some of you may know I post some of my arty stuff and re post a few of my comics on a site called B3ta (rythmes with peter) and 'Dave Draws' is my username on it. B3ta is quite a social community and I have made a lot of real life friends from it. I also practice a lot of new styles of portraits on myself first and people joke about how my face is never off the site. So in that way I am recognisable to the average b3tan. But with This fella (Gary was his name, seems like a very nice bloke. If a tad Shouty, Hi Gary by the way) Shouting my name and me making a joke about Nuts/Zoo magazine reporters (they steal a lot of images from B3ta ) People started wondering how this man could know me. Before I knew it people where staring from behind thier papers and friends where pointing at me whilst muttering to each other. Then the best part, 2 middle aged women started video phoning us talking. I would pay money to see what happens when they show the video to their friends, I imagine it would sound something like this: "here Agnus I got that Dave Draws fella video'd on the Train" "Dave Draws? who the hell is that?" "I was kind of hoping you could tell me" Dave
